Now don't forget to keep it all together in a makeup case to keep it away from dust and dirt!

Now that you know the functions of each brush, I'm going to give you advice on how to clean them! cleaning your brushes regularly is very important, it will keep bacteria from forming and keep your face from breaking out. When is the last time you cleaned your brushes?

There are tons of different brush cleaners that will get the job done, but for a cheap and easy way follow these steps!

Take a plate and place some dawn antibacterial dish soap and a drop of olive oil! (yes olive oil it will keep your brushes soft) dip in the mixture than wipe on the palm of your hand until all the dirt is gone, repeat for each brush. than rinse under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. Let brushes dry over night either upside down using brush protectors or on there sides! when you wake up in the morning you will have squeaky clean brushes!

I hope I was able to help some of you with your brush questions! Don't forget to leave a comment with your e-mail address to be entered in this weeks contest! some lucky winners will be scoring some of these brushes!

Have a Fabulous Week!

Love and Lipstick,
LO
XOXO

  3. I find it difficult to moisturize with oily skin, even when using "for oily skin" moisturizers. :( Great post! I think it's very nice how you offered a money-saving tip instead of insisting your readers buy a particular product. Very cool!

PS I need to get in on these contests!
